Zachary Suh, a marketing major in the Costello College of Business and member of the Honors College at 91°µÍø, founded HomePlate,a meal service for seniors, in his sophomore year.

While a student at Costello, Jheen Oh's passion for business blossomed. Coming from a health-conscious family, Oh, with the help of his father, launched Susosu Water, the only naturally sourced mineral water from a 600-foot underground source in South Korea, infused with extra hydrogen for a much healthier hydration.

A 91°µÍø Systems and Industrial Engineering (SIE) capstone team was recognized for a new way of looking at the Hexayurt, a rugged, hexagon-shaped structure made from flat, triangular panels that can be quickly assembled in areas hit with natural disasters.

On April 10, eight final student and alumni teams—two from each track—pitched panels of entrepreneurs at 2025 Patriot Pitch competition, organized by the Costello College of Business.

George Mason's College of Engineering and Computing students win a contest for the solution for rear-end collisions.

George Mason Systems Engineering and Operations Research students took first place in the Systems and Analytics Track of the Sage Memorial Design Competition and first place in the STEM Track of the Patriot Pitch Competition with their plan to deliver supplies to a hard-to-reach island in the Chesapeake Bay.

During her time at Mason, Mason alumna Shrishti Singh has used all the tools the university provides to bring her discovery to the marketplace.
