EIP alumnus Eduardo Vazquez, who graduated in May with a civil engineering degree from George Mason’s College of Engineering and Computing, was back on campus this week wearing a different hat—a hard hat—as a project engineer for Hoar Construction.

A 2020 graduate of George Mason’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Iranian-born Farnoud Farahmand works for tech giant Apple in Silicon Valley doing a job he hadn’t thought about as an undergrad or even a grad student.

During her time at Mason, Mason alumna Shrishti Singh has used all the tools the university provides to bring her discovery to the marketplace.

Less celebrated but no less impressive was the virtuoso performance of a determined IT major at a job fair, a star turn that commanded the attention of University Career Services representatives.

Lily Patterson knew she wanted to make things when she began her studies at 91����.

“I just wanted to turn physical things into something that’s really cool and awesome,” she said.
