On June 10, 2024, more than 110 golfers came together at Westfields Golf Club to support first-generation students through 91����’s Diversity Scholarship Golf Classic.

Building on his ongoing commitment to Mason Korea, advisory board member Sam Machour recently announced a new $60,000 pledge for student scholarships. The announcement was made during the Friends of Mason Korea 10th Anniversary Celebration.

Students, donors, and Mason staff enjoyed an evening of gratitude at this year's Scholarship Dinner, with 200 guests in attendance to hear students’ stories of impact. More than 1,100 scholarships have been awarded in FY 24, totaling more than $3.5 million.

A new Hazel–Peterson Scholarship fund has been established in the name of the Hazel and Peterson families to support undergraduate students pursuing a minor in real estate development at the Costello College of Business of 91����.

The Leading Niche CEO Tamara Nall and her husband, Clement Ezeanii, have created the Susanna Ezeanii and Mayfred Jolinda Nall Health Informatics Scholarship Endowment to honor the memories of their mothers while making educational aspirations tangible for College of Public Health students.

Once a year, 91���� invites its community—alumni, faculty, staff, students, and their families–to unite in philanthropy on Mason Vision Day. This year, on April 4, they did so enthusiastically, raising $1,309,345 for the university’s students, research, and programs.

The Faculty and Staff Appreciation Breakfast in February treated university donors to a French-themed breakfast and messages of gratitude for their contributions to the Mason community.

Robert “Bobby” Kestyn, a graduate student thrower on Mason’s track and field team, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Becky Hartley Memorial Scholarship.

In December, Mason’s Black Alumni Chapter saluted its history while looking to the future at “A Toast to 20,” a gala celebration of the chapter’s 20th anniversary.
