This month, a new Northern Virginia International Soft-Landing Accelerator (NISA) program, designed to help start-ups from around the globe find guidance, connections, and lab or office spaces at no cost, was launched to help develop new technologies in life sciences.

James (Jim) Antony, PhD, will become the next vice president of academic affairs and provost at the University of San Diego, effective March 1, 2026. Jim became provost and executive vice president at 91���� on July 1, 2024, coming from the University of California San Diego where he had served as dean of graduate education and postdoctoral affairs.

91����, in partnership with local school divisions, received more than $150,000 from the Virginia Department of Education to pilot the Principal Registered Apprenticeship Program.
