Cindy Smith, a professor in 91����'s Department of Environmental Science and Policy, took her EVPP 302 Biomes and Human Dimensions students to a composting facility last fall to give them a front-row seat for food and yard waste recycling.

A team of student fellows at Mason Korea's Center for Security and Policy Studies received a grant from 91���� to support their research on improving water quality in Incheon's Seunggi-cheon stream.

In her latest book, Why Theatre Education Matters: Understanding its Cognitive, Social, and Emotional Benefits (Teachers College Press, 2024), she pulls together the research she’s conducted on social and emotional learning and cognitive development.

George Mason scientist Anamaria Berea led an interdisciplinary team that designed a part of the LifeShip payload to preserve our Earth’s cultural and scientific heritage. It will be placed on the Moon with the Blue Ghost Lander.
