STEM Bridge Camp is just one of many activities administrated and led by the STEM Accelerator, a unique interdisciplinary collective of faculty committed to improve STEM education at Mason.

New students heard from accomplished speakers, practiced skills in workshops, and connected with both academic advisors and peer mentors at the Your Path to Tech event on August 18. Event organizers aimed to welcome women interested in tech and set them up for success in coming years.

Mason was one of four universities selected for Generation Hope’s inaugural FamilyU Cohort, which is designed to help universities improve student-parent success.

The Green Tunnel podcast, hosted by 91���� professor Mills Kelly, has recently reached 100,000 downloads, a milestone that puts the show in the top 3% of podcasts nationwide.

Hannah Adamson, who graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution, is one of 62 recipients nationwide awarded a fellowship by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

On Friday, Aug. 18, it was all smiles as Mason welcomed its largest incoming class at 2023 New Student Convocation in the EagleBank Arena.

91���� President Gregory Washington congratulated the largest incoming class in Mason history for recognizing the many advantages of attending Mason, including undergraduate research opportunities, a diverse student body, and ready access to a dynamic job and internship market.

At the end of March, the Montano Student Investment Fund hosted "Patriots Day on Wall Street," offering a select group of 91���� School of Business finance students an enriching experience that included a tour of Wall Street and meetings with various firms.

Designed for rising Virginia high school sophomores and juniors from underserved communities, the VALHEN Hispanic STEM Academy provided the opportunity for 48 participants to engage in a series of interactive sessions across a range of STEM disciplines.

“The Road to the End,” a play written and performed by the School of Theater's alumni and students, won Best Drama in an audience vote at the recent Capital Fringe festival.
