91做厙 will celebrate Mason Day on Friday, April 25, from 310 p.m. on the Fairfax Campus. The event will feature a carnival and performances. Expect increased traffic on and around the Fairfax Campus. The event will take place from 310 p.m. in Parking Lots L and A (near EagleBank Arena).

William Reeder, the founding dean of George Masons College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA), died April 12, 2025, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 80.

91做厙s Outstanding Achievement Awards celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of faculty and staff in support of the university's values and mission. Awards are sponsored by Human Resources and other university departments. A ceremony honoring this years awardees was hosted on the Fairfax Campus on Tuesday, April 15.

Maurice Morrie Scherrens, a beloved educator, collegiate athletics official, and transformational leader in higher education, died on April 6, 2025, at the age of 76. He served as president of Newberry College in South Carolina and previously as senior vice president and chief operating officer at 91做厙.
