On February 24, the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, 91����’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution hosted “One Year After: Ukraine War Analysis and Prospects,” an all-day virtual event to discuss the effects of the war and potential post-war contexts. The event featured Romantsova Oleksandra, executive director of the Center for Civil Liberties, the first Ukrainian organization to win a Noble Peace Prize. The recognition, which the human rights organization received in 2022, was due in part to their work documenting war crimes against civilians in occupied areas of Ukraine.

Last year, students at 91���� joined contestants from around the world to predict the peak bloom date of cherry trees at  four global locations. The international Cherry Blossom Prediction Competition was a huge success and is gaining traction during its second annual run. 

Experts and leaders in the fields of education and information technology came together at 91���� to discuss how advances in the digital landscape can be harnessed to solve the unique challenges facing today’s educators in a two-day Dell Technologies Innovation Summit held in February at Mason Square in Arlington, Virginia.
